Decagon Finance Corporate is a self-help group established in December 2020. It began as a merry-go-round initiative, bringing together ten young men to support each other after completing their university education. Initially, the main objective was to foster unity among members, who shared a similar academic background and career aspirations, providing mutual financial support and maintaining close ties as they navigated their respective career paths.

The group initially identified as "Azimio Self-Help Group," symbolizing their vision to grow into a prominent financial institution. After two years, they rebranded as "Decagon Finance Corporate Self-Help Group" to reflect the founding group of ten individuals. The group's intention was to evolve into a recognized financial institution, offering financial services to support its members' businesses and projects.

Contributions began at Ksh. 250 per week, gradually increasing to Ksh. 2,300 monthly. In 2023, Decagon Finance Corporate registered as an official self-help group with the government, marking a significant milestone. The group expanded, welcoming new members who could invest by purchasing shares through monthly contributions.

Today, Decagon stands as a modern financial structure, dedicated to boosting financial stability for its members and the broader community.
